Resurrections
According to mainstream Christianity, its reason for
existing is to inform mankind of the prospect
of going "to heaven or hell" when one dies. The belief of going to
heaven or hell at death is taught without any reservation
or dispute as to its correctness by the Catholic church
and its protestant daughters.
This concept of going to "heaven or hell" upon one's death creates a real
problem for these organizations when the concept of the "resurrection" is considered.
