America was born in the violence of the Revolution to gain independence from England, our mother country. The United States, in its short history, as compared with most world powers, has had an unprecedented growth in prosperity and international power. The United States, with only about 10% of the world's population, still controls approximately 50% of the wealth of the world. The United States government, with its military and economic power, coupled with American industry, continues to be the most powerful economy and military machine the world has ever seen. At no time in history, has any government, including the ancient Roman Empire, been able to lay claim to the power America has experienced in its short existence.

America really came into its own at the end of World War I when Europe suffered so tragically from a war which ultimately brought to an end the great European empires and their monarchies. As Europe declined, America's star rose higher than any other nation on the earth. World War II only served to increase the American power in the world, while reducing all other countries to a second or third-rate economic and military power. The American standard of living continues to be the highest in the world, when you compare it with other countries, considering such common conveniences as in-door plumbing, air-conditioned homes, two-car garages, and several television sets in most American households. As we look back on our American heritage, we must also look forward to what lies in store for our great nation.

STORM CLOUDS

As our leaders continue to make political decisions concerning our national security and sovereignty, one can only be sobered by what has happened over the last ten years where governmental actions infringe upon our God-given freedom. In recent years, the polls seem to indicate that 80% of Americans polled think Congress is not doing a good job. These same polls also indicate that 70% don't approve the job the current president is doing.

As we move through the 21^st Century, historians of the American experience will be able to point to the 90's and the first President George Bush's statement about the establishment of a New World Order as the turning point in changing America, as we know it today.

WORLD COMMERCE AND BANKERS

Dwight Eisenhower warned America, as he was departing office, that the military, industrial complex could, at some point in history, gain control of our entire political system. When you consider his comments in the 1950's, we only have to look back over these past 40 years to see that what he said has come true. America's strengths are based on her economic might. American industry is well aware of the fact that, for them to survive and to continue growing, they must enter into GLOBAL MARKETS. For global markets to be opened to American industry, Congress passed the GATT and NAFTA treaties; these treaties were supposed to give American products and services a better, competitive edge in the world market. Economists, government officials and business leaders are working together in an effort to tear down any and all tariff barriers to global trade. The only way global trade can become a reality without government interference is to CHANGE THE FORM OF GOVERNMENTS so they no longer interfere with commercial trade.

The George Bush Gulf War was fought to ensure that America was able to maintain its supply of oil to fuel the engines of manufacturing. The war was fought purely and simply, as admitted by government officials, to ensure a STEADY SUPPLY OF OIL TO AMERICAN CONSUMERS.

The German and Japanese people of the 1930s and 1940s saw their military leaders dealing with the economic needs of their countries. America and Britain were seen as competitive empires that destroyed their economic aspirations. As a result of the Great Depression of the 1930s, Hitler and the Japanese leaders blamed the West for their economic troubles. Hitler went so far as to blame the Jewish bankers and commercial leaders for the conditions of the world economy and especially the collapse of the German economy. Germany and Japan saw a world, global economy as the only way to bring about financial stability out of financial chaos.

German industry supported whole-heartedly the actions of Adolf Hitler, just as American industry supported whole-heartedly the actions of Franklin Roosevelt in taking us into World War II. The war proved a boon for both American and Axis industrial manufacturers. World War II was fought over economic reasons. As Germany tried to expand its political and economical influence in the world, America stood in the way and fought World War II to limit the expansion of both Germany and Japan. Since World War II, Germany and Japan have once again grown into major economic powers on a worldwide scale far greater than they ever were prior to World War II.

Business interests around the world focus on making profits. Wars are only profitable so long as manufacturing plants and assets are not destroyed. Many years ago, the industrialists of the 1700s and 1800s realized that war caused them great economic loss if they were on the losing side. Most industrial leaders around the world today have become convinced that war among the nations is no longer profitable. Therefore, the driving force behind Globalism is the world economic system that needs stability among the nations to prosper. It is believed that political disputes and religious wars must be stopped. To this end, many industrial and financial leaders are working feverishly behind the scenes to move the United States and ALL world governments into a NEW WORLD ORDER; they believe this will end warfare among the nations. Their dream is to set up a world-ruling government that will have the capability of instantly putting down any insurrection, no matter where, to ensure that all lanes of commerce are maintained to maximize the profits of global companies in a world market.

Notice how many American companies are expanding overseas and labeling themselves as a "global" international company. You can't travel anywhere in the world without seeing American companies represented to one degree or another. By the same token, the same can be said of other industrialized nations moving their plants and offices to market their products worldwide. Several years back, while I was attending a conference of leading paper manufacturing executives, their major focus was on the burgeoning Chinese communist market in which to sell American paper. One speaker spoke to the fact that the Chinese had not been introduced on a large scale to the use of toilet paper. This particular executive was pointing out that, if his company could have 10% of the Chinese market selling toilet tissue, this market would triple his company's business. Industrial executives are all looking hungrily at a world market and whatever it will take from a government standpoint to ensure that these markets are opened to their products and services. Industrial and political leaders of the world believe that nationalism, patriotism and religion all pose a threat to business and COMMERCE.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER

The New World Order, which was coined by the first President George Bush, is proposed to bring stability to business and governments of the world. The New World Order is envisioned as removing national territorial boundaries and moving the world into TEN POLITICAL REGIONS which will have few, if any, tariff or political restrictions. Each political region will be an economic and political entity, headed by a Regional Political Head. These industrial and political leaders envision establishing the New World Order eliminating the nations as we know them today. Of course, they do not intend to do away with the names of the sovereign nations, but each nation will be forced to give up its sovereignty for the BETTER GOOD OF THE WORLD COMMUNITY. The industrial and political leaders of the world have a plan which came out of a meeting of the Club of Rome on September 17, 1973. In this plan, the world is divided into ten international regions. The globalists hasten to point out that the regional boundaries may require some modification.

When hearing the goals of these political and industrial leaders, most people strongly support this idea of bringing world peace and global trade so that everyone can feel secure and prosper. Of course, this is exactly how they will sell it to the PEOPLE. As more and more people become disenchanted with our political process, they will come to believe the only cure for our global ills is a new world-ruling government and a New World Order. As things get worse in the world, from the standpoint of sporadic wars and economic upsets, more and more people will happily hand over certain freedoms in order to enjoy increased profits and personal security. The American Constitution stands in the way of the Globalist movement because it stresses freedom for the individual. Our Constitution will be eventually discarded or ignored in favor of the perception of WORLD PEACE, PROSPERITY AND SECURITY under a new world government. The question is WHAT PRICE will the Americans be willing to pay for this so-called PEACE AND PROSPERITY?

NEW WORLD ORDER PROPHESIED

The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. - Daniel 7:23-24

For the student of Bible Prophecy, the New World Order and its "ten regions" with a "super President" should send shivers up and down your spine. The New World Order and its World CEO can be a fulfillment of the prophecies mentioned in Daniel and Revelation. The surfacing of the idea of a world CEO appeared in the May 1995 issue of Foreign Affairs. In this article, the author was proposing the idea of a super world ruler serving seven years with unlimited "veto proof" powers.

Many thousands of years ago, the prophet Daniel was given a vision by God concerning how our world would be in the latter days, just before the return of Jesus Christ. In Daniel 2, God revealed to Nebuchadnezzar a great image in which God showed Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar how all world governments would follow in the Babylonian style, following King Nebuchadnezzar.

Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. (Daniel 2:31-34)

This image portrayed the successive governments that would rule the earth until all will finally be destroyed by Jesus Christ at His return and the establishment of His World-ruling Government.

The world has seen all of these governments come and go. NOW, we are in the final phase of this Babylonian style world ruling government that is about to take shape in our life time. This government is described.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. (Daniel 2:40-42) These two verses describe a Roman type of government which was actually based on the Babylonian system which will soon appear on the scene as a NEW world-ruling government. Please notice verse 42 indicates that the feet had TEN TOES which will make up this final government. These ten toes are described by Daniel where he recounts this great image and describes the proclivity of each of these successive governments. Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. Daniel 7:23-24 Verse 24 plainly shows that the ten toes are to be TEN KINGS who are to rise up at the END TIME. These ten kings or ten world leaders are again spoken of in the book of Revelation. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Revelation 13:1)

In this verse, we see that this final great political union has been on the earth, and the term "seven heads" indicates this form of government, which is the Roman, Babylonian style of government, will have SEVEN RESURRECTIONS with the FINAL RESURRECTION containing an unusual mixture, as described in Daniel being partly IRON and partly CLAY.

This final government, with its ten world leaders is supposedly based on democratic principles, which will be partly strong and partly weak because of its democratic facade. We have seen, over the past ten years, a rise in democratic institutions around the world as communism and dictatorships fall by the wayside. We witnessed a democratic revolution in the first freely re-elected president of the Russian federation, Mr. Boris Yelsin, as well as the current Russian leaders.

The buzz word for all political and economic leaders is DEMOCRACY. This mingling of democracy with totalitarianism helps us to understand why God prophesied that this final, end-time government would be partly strong and partly weak.

In Revelation 13:1, the ten crowns refer to the TEN LEADERS which are represented by the TEN TOES of this great image Nebuchadnezzar had in his dream. Verse 4 shows that the people of the world overwhelmingly accept this New World Order because of its PROMISE OF PEACE AND PROSPERITY and that people will literally WORSHIP this new man-made government as if it were the "savior" of the world. Again, in Revelation 17:12, these ten toes are further defined as ten kings. "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast." (Verse 13) "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." In verse 13, these ten kings are willing to subjugate themselves to a world-ruling SUPER KING or president, exactly as pictured in the May 1997 issue of Foreign Affairs, published by the Council on Foreign Relations.

As you study these prophetic events, you realize that this great, future world-ruling power turns out to be the most destructive of all powers ever to be devised by man.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:5-8)

This scripture shows that this power will be given the authority to rule for three and one-half years. During the course of their rule, they will bring destruction to the earth.

This world-ruling government will, at first, seem like an answer to all the prayers of the people in the world who have "cried for peace" and "there has been no peace." This new system, which will have several identifying MARKS as the "marks of the beast," will be one that is based on POLITICAL POWER, MILITARY STRENGTH, ECONOMIC MIGHT and RELIGIOUS FERVOR. Because of these four characteristics, Revelation 13 points out that those who do not accept the tenets of the new world order will be shut out of the system, not allowed to buy or sell or engage in any commerce. Verses 16 and 17 clearly point out that, unless you are endorsed as one accepting this new world order, you will be barred from commerce and practicing your freedom of religion.

If the founding fathers could "peek in" long enough to see what is happening to our political system, they would all say with one voice, "This is what we warned you against," because they were able to see, even in their time, a move toward world ruling governments. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and all of the founding fathers of our Republic saw the danger of America engaging in the political intrigue that had devastated Europe and the rest of the world for thousands of years. They all warned against foreign entanglements, because our founding fathers knew those entanglements would ultimately lead to a LOSS OF OUR SOVEREIGNTY, our FREEDOM and ultimately the ENSLAVEMENT OF OUR PEOPLE.

We Americans must truly repent, and by that I mean BEGIN TO SEEK GOD AND HIS WAY OF LIFE, instead of trying to accommodate the politically correct anti-God element in our society. However, prophecy is marching on and, unfortunately for the vast majority of the citizens of America, North America and Western Europe, we are headed into what Christ termed "the great tribulation." It is a time in our future when America is going to fall prey to this globalist movement in such a way that no one can possibly conceive of at this time. The Bible speaks of mass destruction so great that, if Christ did not intervene, there would be NO FLESH left alive on the face of the earth.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:21-22)

God is making a way for a small number of people to escape this great upcoming calamity. Those of you who are AWAKE may qualify for God's protection against this great devastation. To those who accept HIS WAY OF LIFE and are COUNTED WORTHY, God is extending the possibility for your PERSONAL PROTECTION AND SALVATION.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (Revelation 12:13-16)

These verses indicate that, during the same three and one-half years' period, while this great BEAST POWER called the New World Order is moving to enslave the world, a SELECT FEW OF GOD'S PEOPLE will be PROTECTED from the "face of the serpent." Again, God extends to us a measure of protection, when He speaks to His true followers:

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
